The new car’s name is The Truck. 

Because it will take me whoknowshowlong to stop referring to my car as the truck at times when I need to grab something out my vehicle. As in, “be right back, left my phone in the truck.”

I’ve had nothing but trucks for my entire driving history, minus three months of Crown Vic. It is a challenge that I have acknowledged and quickly decided to not care about. Thus creating a path around the problem and beginning a longstanding private joke. 

All that being said, I really wish the ElCamino  concept were to be used more widely. I’d love a car geared for driving well, but with a transmission that allows a bit extra weight on tow and a bed added with the shocks to match.
