Lunch Break 6/9/17

A few others are enjoying the air under the gas pump shelter. It isn’t just me for once.

It is just as beautiful as yesterday.

Too bad it is over. We had free lunch at work (Italian). It was pretty tasty & served to end a 60 hour stretch without solid food.

rainy wednesday lunch

It’s like I really want to go to the gym today, but the rain makes me resist. I tend to flow with nature when I can, following the attitude of the weather. Rain is for recovery. Rain enhances your ability to sleep. Whether the cause is reduced serotonin levels, atmospheric pressure, or what-have-you, the rain definitely makes people sleepy.

…don’t fight it. If you do, you are faced with the challenge of fighting nature herself. For the reason you are sleepy is the result of generations of problems associated with being in the rain. The misconception that seems to be cropping up that playing in the rain doesn’t make you sick is mostly correct, but the problem occurs when an immune system is weakened. Then the rain very well could bring sickness upon you.

Why fight the lazy mood at work? Just accept the fact that everyone isn’t up to normal speed due to the weather. I’m bout to go burn my afternoon energy on CATIA with pressing matters, but after that, I’m back to coolbreeze during the rainy week.

Lunch Break 3_28_2017

As I reclined in my seat at the Hardee’s parking lot, I had an insight.

A convertible would possibly alleviate my vehicle woes. I could still get ease of access to the open sky for napping. I could tote something (like a bike) by placing over the seats. While also getting decent mpg. I think I’d aim for a larger type.

I am here only after being harassed for parking askew behind a business. I had my big green towel laid out behind my car to sunbathe. I cannot really complain; I know harassment is the Police’s #1 duty around here, so she was just doing her job.

Lunch Break 3/20/17

Shut the eyes and tried to nap, but there’s too much thinking.

Remembering rock/paper/scissors from back in the day. Thinking of the champ who is no longer with us. I think of him often.

Guess I’ll stretch a bit and head on in to the bbq place for my tator.

It is really pretty out today.

1st day of Spring today.
